We share your information only with the third parties listed below, and only for the purposes described.

Service Providers

  • Zapier— We use Zapier to route your form submission to our customer relationship management (CRM) system. Zapier acts as a data processor on our behalf. We do not currently route your data to any downstream CRM beyond our own internal tools.
  • Google (Google Ads)— We use Google Ads (account AW-17549528472) to advertise our services and measure conversions. Google may use cookies and device identifiers to serve and measure ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, may show our ads across the Internet based on your prior visits to our Site. We have not yet enabled Google Analytics 4; if we do in the future, we will update this policy.
  • Microsoft Clarity— When enabled, we use Microsoft Clarity to capture how you use and interact with our website through behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and session replay to improve our site experience. Microsoft Clarity records what you type into form fields, including before you submit the form. Website usage data is captured using first- and third-party cookies and other tracking technologies. We do not knowingly collect biometric identifiers as defined under the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA, 740 ILCS 14). Behavioral data captured by Microsoft Clarity (scroll, click, keystroke patterns) is used for usability analysis only and is not stored as a biometric identifier. For more information about how Microsoft collects and uses your data, see the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
  • Vercel Analytics— We use Vercel's first-party analytics to measure Site performance. Vercel Analytics is cookieless and does not collect personally identifying data.

Legal and Business Transfers

We may also disclose your information:

  • To comply with a court order, subpoena, or other legal obligation
  • To enforce our terms or protect our rights, property, or safety
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of our business assets, subject to the terms of this Privacy Policy

4. What We Do Not Do

  • We do not sell your personal information for money.
  • We do not share your phone number or email address with unrelated third-party marketers.
  • We do not retain credit card or payment card details on our systems.
  • We do not collect biometric identifiers as defined under the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA, 740 ILCS 14).
  • We do not knowingly collect or process personal information from children under 13.

5. Marketing Communications & Phone/Text Consent

By providing your phone number and submitting our estimate request form, you expressly consent to receive calls and text messages from Floor Coatings Group at the phone number you provided. These communications may relate to your estimate request, scheduled appointments, follow-up questions, and (with your consent) promotional offers about our services.

You acknowledge that some of these calls or texts may be made using an automated telephone dialing system (ATDS), prerecorded or artificial voice messages, or AI-generated voice technology. Consent to receive marketing calls or texts is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services from us. Standard message and data rates may apply.

Text frequency:Approximately 1–4 text messages during the active estimate/installation phase, then up to 1 promotional message per month for opted-in customers.

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in consent data with any third party. This data is used solely for our own communications with you.

  • Strictly necessary— Required for the Site to function (e.g., session management).
  • Analytics— Help us understand how visitors use the Site (Vercel Analytics, Microsoft Clarity when enabled).

Your Choices

  • Opt out of Google Ads personalization: google.com/settings/ads
  • Opt out of interest-based advertising across multiple vendors: optout.networkadvertising.org
  • Browser controls: Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings.

Because there is no industry consensus on how to interpret Do Not Track (DNT) browser signals, our Site does not currently change its behavior in response to DNT signals. We are evaluating support for the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal and will update this policy when we implement it.

7. Data Security

We protect your information using HTTPS encryption for all data in transit, access controls on our CRM, environment-isolated production secrets, and contractual data protection requirements with our service providers (Zapier, Microsoft, Google, Vercel). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

If we discover a security incident that compromises your personal information, we will notify affected individuals as required by Illinois law (815 ILCS 530) and any other applicable breach-notification laws.

  • Portability (CPRA)— California residents may request a portable copy of their personal information in a machine-readable format.
  • Limit use of sensitive personal information (CPRA)— We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined under CPRA (e.g., precise geolocation, financial account data, health data). If this changes, we will update this policy and provide an opt-out.
  • Non-discrimination — We will not deny service or charge a different price for exercising your rights.
